What is a Yak Chew?

Yak Chews are traditional, long-lasting hard chews made primarily from yak and cow's milk, with a small amount of lime juice and salt.

The ingredients are compressed before the chews are slowly smoked and dried for around 28 days, creating a dense, hard chew that dogs can gradually work away at.

They're a simple, long-lasting option for dogs that love to chew, with a naturally cheesy flavour.

Why are ours such good value?

Simple – we've cut out the fancy packaging, not the chew.

These Yak Chews come directly from source without all the unnecessary individual retail packaging, allowing us to offer them in great-value packs of four.

As a natural product, sizes, shapes and colours will vary slightly. Some may be a little wonky, tapered or misshapen rather than perfectly rectangular. That's completely normal and is also reflected in the fantastic price.

We'd rather give you a great chew at a great price than charge you extra for a pretty packet!

Bonus Yak Tip 🧀

Don't throw away that last little piece!

Once your Yak Chew becomes too small for your dog to safely chew, remove it from them.

Pop the remaining piece in the microwave for approximately 30 seconds and it will puff up into a crunchy treat.

Important: It can become extremely hot, so allow ample time for it to cool completely before giving it back to your dog.

It's a great way to get that final bit of enjoyment out of every Yak!
