We know that keeping your dog engaged and active is essential, especially on days when outdoor play isn’t an option. That’s why we want to share a fantastic game that not only helps burn off energy but also strengthens your bond: Find the Toy!
Objective:
Encourage your dog to use their natural hunting instincts to find their favourite toy, building excitement around playtime and reinforcing the bond between you and your dog.

How to Play
Start Easy
Show your dog their favourite toy, like the Paws Pocket or the Waggle, and let them interact with it briefly. While they watch, place the toy somewhere visible but slightly hidden (e.g., behind a chair or under a blanket). Use a cue like “find it” to get them excited!
Reward the Find
When your dog successfully finds the toy, praise them enthusiastically and engage in a quick play session as a reward. This reinforces that finding the toy leads to fun and positive interaction with you.
Increase the Difficulty
Gradually make the hiding spots more challenging. Hide the toy out of sight in different rooms or behind objects, using the same cue word each time.
Repeat for Fun
Keep the game fun and energetic! You can end the session on a high note by letting your dog keep the toy as a reward for their efforts.
Why It’s Effective
This game taps into your dog’s natural hunting instincts, making toy play both mentally and physically stimulating. It’s a great rainy day hack to burn off extra energy indoors while reinforcing recall and problem-solving skills.
We hope you and your dog enjoy playing Find the Toy together! It's a wonderful way to strengthen your bond and keep your pup engaged, no matter the weather.
