Paws Made™ Halloween 2026 Web Bat Thing
Something has escaped from the Paws Made workshop just in time for Halloween...
Meet the Paws Made Web Bat Thing, our Halloween 2026 special – a ridiculously flappy, squeaky bat combined with a genuine JW® Holee Roller ball and a lightweight webbing handle.
Designed and made here in the UK as part of our Paws Made range, the Web Bat Thing brings together some of our favourite ingredients for interactive play: movement, noise, a great ball and plenty of loose, floppy fabric for dogs to grab.
And yes... Bat Thing really is its name.
Meet the Bat
For our 2026 Halloween special, Tracey was given the task of creating the bat – and we think she's absolutely nailed it.
Each bat is made in-house using our elusive Paws Made fabric, finished with your choice of orange or purple edging for a suitably Halloween look.
The bat spans an enormous 47cm from wingtip to wingtip, with big, loose wings specifically designed to flap and move around during play.
And there's a reason we've made them this way.
No Stuffing. Maximum Flappiness.
Rather than filling the bat with traditional toy stuffing, we've intentionally left the body and wings unstuffed.
From our experience making and testing toys with dogs, we've found that it's often the loose, unpredictable movement of fabric that they absolutely love.
Those large unstuffed wings flap, fold and move around as the toy is thrown, tugged and shaken, giving your dog plenty of material to grab without adding unnecessary bulk.
Hidden inside the centre of the bat is a squeaker, adding another element to the reward when your dog gets hold of it.
It's weird. It's flappy. It's exactly what we wanted.
JW® Holee Roller Ball
At the other end you'll find a genuine JW® Holee Roller, a flexible rubber cage ball that's been a firm favourite with dogs for years.
The open design gives dogs plenty of different places to grab, while its flexible construction makes it ideal for interactive games.
The Holee Roller measures approximately 9cm in diameter, and you can choose your preferred ball colour when ordering.
Why a Webbing Handle?
The webbing version keeps the Bat Thing simple, lightweight and easy to handle.
The handle gives you a clear point to grab during interactive games and makes it easy to hold, throw and quickly produce the toy as a reward during training.
Unlike our bungee version, there's no additional stretch in the handle, making this the more straightforward and compact version of the Bat Thing.
You still get the giant flappy bat, squeaker and Holee Roller – just in a lighter package.
Designed for Reward-Based Training
Dogs are motivated by different things. Some love food, while others will do just about anything for a good game with their favourite toy.
The Web Bat Thing is designed for dogs that love an exciting interactive play reward and can be used during training as an alternative to food.
Whether it's a quick game after a great recall, a reward during training or simply some one-to-one play together, it's designed to make the reward part of the fun.
Make Your Bat Thing Your Own
Choose your combination of:
• Ball colour
• Bat edging – Orange or Purple
• Webbing handle colour
As these are individually made in our workshop, every Web Bat Thing will have a little character of its own.
Halloween 2026 Special
The Web Bat Thing has been created specifically as our Paws Made Halloween 2026 special.
It's a seasonal Paws Made design rather than another permanent addition to the range, so once our Halloween production has finished, that's it for this year's bats.
Made in the UK
Paws Made™ is our own range of dog toys, designed with real dogs, training and interactive play in mind.
Our toys are made here in the UK, with an emphasis on practical designs, quality materials and products that are genuinely useful – with the occasional completely unnecessary giant flappy bat thrown in for good measure.
Size
Bat wingspan: approximately 47cm
Approximate total toy length: 36cm
JW® Holee Roller diameter: approximately 9cm
As our Paws Made products are individually made, there may be small variations between toys.
Important
The Paws Made Halloween Web Bat Thing is designed for supervised, interactive training and play. It is not designed to be used as a chew toy.
The loose wings are intentionally designed to provide movement during interactive play and should not be left with your dog unattended.
As with all Paws Made toys, it should be removed from your dog once your training or play session has finished.
Designed for dogs. Made in the UK. Made to be used.
Happy Howl-o-ween from Paws Made™
