The Paws Made Original Paws Pocket is a UK-made interactive treat and training toy, designed to make rewarding your dog more engaging, exciting and versatile.

One of the original designs in our Paws Made range, the Paws Pocket combines a treat holder, interactive toy and training reward in one simple but clever product.

Whether you're working on recall, building motivation, rewarding a great training session or simply looking for a different way to engage with your dog, the Paws Pocket offers a fun alternative to delivering treats directly from your hand.

What is a Paws Pocket?

The idea is simple: place your dog's favourite treats inside the Paws Pocket, close it up and use it as an interactive reward during training and play.

Unlike a traditional treat pouch, the Paws Pocket is designed to be thrown, chased and opened by your dog.

The pocket features three fabric petals secured with VELCRO®, which fold together to hold the treats safely inside until your dog retrieves their reward.

Once your dog reaches the pocket, they can work to open the petals and discover the treats hidden inside.

This creates a rewarding experience where your dog gets to chase, investigate and retrieve their reward rather than simply being handed a treat.

Adjustable Difficulty. Different Dogs. Different Rewards.

One of the cleverest features of the Paws Pocket is how easily you can adjust the difficulty.

The three petals are secured using VELCRO®, allowing you to change how tightly the pocket closes.

For dogs that are new to the Paws Pocket, you can fasten the petals lightly, making it easier for them to discover and retrieve their treats.

As your dog becomes more confident and familiar with the toy, you can close the petals more securely to introduce a little extra challenge.

It's a simple way to adapt the toy to your dog's experience, confidence and motivation.

Designed for Reward-Based Training

Dogs are motivated by different things. Some love food, others love toys, and plenty enjoy a combination of both.

The Paws Pocket brings these elements together by turning a food reward into an interactive game.

Rather than always delivering a treat directly from your hand, you can throw the Paws Pocket away from you, allowing your dog to chase and retrieve their reward.

This makes it particularly useful when you want to reward your dog at a distance or encourage them to move towards a particular location during training.

The Paws Pocket can also be used to help build enthusiasm, engagement and motivation by making the reward itself part of the game.

We offer the Original Paws Pocket in three sizes, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your dog and how you intend to use it.

Mini Paws Pocket

Our smallest version is ideal for handlers who want a compact reward toy that's easy to carry and conceal.

Its smaller size makes it particularly useful when you want to keep a reward hidden until the perfect moment.

Small Paws Pocket

A great all-round option, offering a balance between portability and a larger target for your dog to find and retrieve.

The Small Paws Pocket is a popular choice for everyday training and interactive reward games.

Medium Paws Pocket

Our largest Original Paws Pocket offers a bigger target, making it easier for your dog to spot and retrieve during training.

It's particularly useful for handlers who prefer a more substantial toy or want something more visible when throwing rewards.

Colours

The main fabric of the Original Paws Pocket is black, with your choice of edging colour.

You can select your preferred edging colour when ordering.

Please note that fabric texture and colours may vary slightly from those shown in the photographs depending on the materials available.

Important

The Original Paws Pocket is designed for supervised, interactive training and reward-based play. It is not designed to be used as a chew toy.

Although every toy is checked before dispatch, no fabric toy is indestructible. Its lifespan will depend on your dog's individual play style and how the toy is used.

Always supervise your dog during play, regularly inspect the toy for signs of wear or damage and discontinue use if it becomes damaged.

As with all Paws Made toys, it should be removed from your dog once your training or play session has finished.
